The progress of the recall incident this week is as follows:

This week's recycling developments were as follows:

[Breakthrough in 10,000 mt/a LiPF6 Technological Transformation Project] Recently, the 10Kt/a LiPF6 technological upgrade project, contracted by China National Chemical Engineering Donghua Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. for Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Kaitai Technology Co., Ltd., successfully passed mechanical completion acceptance, marking the completion of all installation and commissioning work.

[6,000 mt Sodium-Ion Battery Polyanion Cathode Material Construction Project Officially Commenced] On July 4, Ronbay Technology (688005) officially launched the construction of its 6,000 mt sodium-ion battery polyanion cathode material project at its Xiantao base. This project, a strategic new energy industry initiative by Ronbay, will become the most advanced cathode material production line in China's sodium-ion battery sector upon completion, with key indicators such as energy density and cycle life reaching internationally leading levels and production efficiency improving by over 20%.

[50,000 mt Lithium Battery Recycling Project Nearing Operation] Recently, the Gucheng County Government of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, published a joint acceptance notice for Camel Group Resources Recycling Xiangyang Co., Ltd.'s annual 50,000 mt lithium power battery resource recycling and comprehensive utilization project (covering leaching workshops, extraction workshops, storage tank areas, discharge rooms, MVR workshops, etc.). The total investment in the project reached 5 billion yuan. Phase I, launched in August 2021, has completed construction and put into use a production line capable of processing 2,000 mt of spent batteries annually and producing 80 mt of ternary cathode precursor.

[200,000 mt Lithium Battery Recycling Technological Transformation Project Acceptance Public Notice] Recently, the Chizhou Ecological Environment Bureau of Anhui province issued a public notice accepting the environmental impact assessment report for the second-phase technological transformation project of Anhui CN Technology Recycling Co., Ltd.'s 200,000 t/a lithium battery material comprehensive recycling initiative. Post-upgrade, the ternary battery dismantling capacity of Phase II was reduced from the original 80,000 t/a to 40,000 t/a, with the shortfall supplemented by externally purchased crude nickel hydroxide, crude lithium carbonate, and spent LFP black mass. The product plan includes 20,000 t/a ternary precursor and 10,000 t/a lithium carbonate, maintaining pre-transformation capacity. To ensure ternary precursor quality, industrial-grade manganese sulphate and cobalt sulphate were added. Post-transformation, Phase II retains its original capacity of 20,000 t/a ternary precursor and 10,000 t/a lithium carbonate.

[20,000 mt/y Lithium Carbonate Project Successfully Commissioned] Recently, the 20,000 mt/y lithium carbonate project of Qinghai Huixin under China Salt Lake achieved successful one-time feed commissioning and smoothly produced qualified products. June 2025 became the project's critical output period: following the successful water flow in the brine transportation and drainage system on June 2, feed commissioning commenced smoothly on June 10, and the first batch of products officially rolled off the production line on June 17. This marked the full-line commissioning of the salt lake development project with a total investment of 2.29 billion yuan, 13 days ahead of schedule.

[18,000 mt/y LiPF6 Technological Transformation and Capacity Expansion Project Approved] On July 1, the Huichang County People's Government issued an approval document for the energy-saving review of the Shilei Fluorine Materials Huichang 18,000 mt/y LiPF6 technological transformation and capacity expansion project. Main construction content and energy-consuming equipment: The project utilizes the existing 6,000 mt/y LiPF6 production facility covering 9,194.29 m² in Plant 1 without additional buildings. Technological upgrades will be implemented on the original 6,000 mt/y LiPF6 production line. Post-transformation, continuous gasification, reaction, and drying processes will be achieved, increasing LiPF6 annual capacity from 6,000 mt to 18,000 mt.
